Chateau Grand Pierre
Rose |
A lush fruity wine which is light enough to drink as an aperitif but with a great depth of flavour. Superb with pork or white meat, barbecues, pasta & new world cuisine. Even die-hard non-rose drinkers have been converted after tasting our rose. |

Grapes Of Our Region |
Vine growing in this area has its roots in the Gallo-Roman period and has continued to prosper over the centuries. The region’s vineyards were among the first in France to obtain AOC in 1937 - an assurance of authenticity and origin.
The vineyards are located in the northwestern tip of the Lot et Garonne, between the Gironde, where they border on the Entre deux Mers and Bordeaux vineyards and the Dordogne where they border the Bergerac vineyards.
The main grape varieties grown in the area are: For white wines; Sauvignon, Semillion & Muscadelle. For red and rose wines; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Malbec. |
