Ideally positioned on top of a hill within the Cotes de Duras Appellation the private wine estate at Chateau Grand Pierre predominately slopes gently towards the South West. On a base of clay, chalk and limestone the vineyard boasts 8 hectares of vines laid down to Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grape varieties.
Responsibly working with our environment, quality red, fruity white and soft rose wines are produced in our on site winery.
Vineyard Tours
With twice weekly afternoon tours, usually each Tuesday and Friday, come and experience this superb working vineyard. On completing the tour you are welcome to sample our quality wines. Private tours can also be accommodated upon request.
